COMEDY. In this “stellar” comedy, astronomy professor Dr. Ranch is desperate to secure a massive financial donation from Mr. Hyenop, a billionaire obsessed with alien abductions. During a stargazing trip in the mountains with Hyenop and his wife, a sudden streak of light and a loud explosion lead them to a crash site where they rescue Bobby, an injured survivor, and bring him to the nearby cabin of Old Lady Colvin, an eccentric local obsessed with marrying an alien. After conducting a series of “scientific” tests, the Hyenops become utterly convinced that Bobby is an extraterrestrial. Then in a shocking confession, Bobby reveals that Dr. Ranch is really “Captain Zagnut,” a notorious human-abducting alien from another galaxy. And if things weren’t “alien” enough, Dr. Ranch's daughter announces she is secretly engaged to Bobby right before the CIA swarms the property and places everyone under house arrest. In a whirlwind climax of catastrophic cosmic chaos, a real alien is finally revealed, but he is definitely not from outer space! Strong ensemble cast. Easy to stage.
