CLASSIC HORROR. Adapted from the tale by Edgar Allan Poe. A murderer begins to hear the heartbeat of his victim as he is being questioned by police. As the heartbeat grows louder, the murderer becomes increasing agitated until he confesses to having killed an old man with a “vulture eye,” dismembering his body, and hiding the body parts under the floor. Included in the short play collection "The Tell-Tale Heart."

Albert T. Viola (1942-2009) was an award-winning actor and playwright who appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in television and motion pictures. Mr. Viola also served as a faculty fellow in Mathey College at Princeton University.
